With the Kenzo Suzuki teacher specializing in instruction .  The book report in the length of stay in Mr. Cody Steele's Futaba high school. By Cody Steele week of my life had the effect of an entire school year, complete with amazing teachers, good friends, and profound memories. Wearing the Futaba general uniform didn't exactly disguise me, in fact, it may have made me stick out even more. No-matter where I went, giddy classmates called out "Hello!" or "Good morning!" from down the hall and I couldn't help but laugh. In America, at my school, I blend in so well, not even my friends sometimes notice me, and without a uniform! Even with the constant distractions, I had a great time throughout my stay and my only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. Sports Day was a blast and I was really glad I could take part in such an important event for 2-1 (school champs!). Those two days alone were worth the constant battle against opposing cultures and the always challenging language barrier. Even though I received somewhat different treatment, I'm leaving this school with a great deal of knowledge. I've gained so much from this that it is hard, in fact, to imagine only a single week had passed. In conclusion, I just hope those whom I've come in contact with have felt as enriched as I do about this great time I spent at Futaba High School. |
